  • Support for families

The best outcomes for pupils are achieved when school and families work together.

At times, families and children may require additional support both within and outside of school and we offer a range of interventions and services led by school as part of our early help offer.

    This may include:

    • Attendance meetings and support to address barriers to your child's attendance at school
    • Early Help Assessment to support families to access additional support
    • Pupil passports and individual learning plans
    • Emotional Based School Avoidance support
    • Drawing and talking therapy

We can also refer and signpost families to a range of external services, with consent from families, such as:

    • Barnardo's
    • CAMHS
    • Child Action North West
    • Child and Family Wellbeing Service
    • Children's Social Care
    • Foodbank
    • Kooth
    • Longridge Family Hub
    • Police/PCSO
