At Barnacre Road Primary school, we are looking for a highly motivated, conscientious & nurturing Teaching Assistant (Level 2b), to join our supportive & hardworking school family. The successful candidate will have high expectations and good behaviour management.
The successful applicant would be working primarily in our Year 5 class, with part of the role being responsible for supporting a child with SEN needs, alongside the traditional TA expectations. 30 minutes of daily Welfare cover is also part of the role.
There are other opportunities available depending on skillset and experience, such as covering PPA, ELSA sessions or Forest school for instance, dependent on your skills and qualifications.
The successful candidate will join a school that is keen to be the best it can be, with a determination to make sure all children can belong.

This position is 32.25 hrs a week, term time only, and is permanent, working 8.45am-3.30pm Monday to Friday. The contract will be for 38 weeks, term time only.
In addition to this role, there is also an opportunity to work in our Before and After School Club, Barn Owl Club, details of which can be discussed at interview.
