Our Governors

Role of the Governing Board

Governors have three main functions:

We set and uphold the vision, ethos and strategic direction of the school.
We hold the Headteacher to account for the educational performance of the children.
We oversee the financial performance of the school to make sure its money is well spent.

Governors also ensure the school’s safeguarding measures are safe and effective. The Board's minutes are shared across the Bay Learning Trust in accordance with the Articles of Association.

We meet as a full governing board six times a year.
