Investigating Yeast- bread making

Investigating Yeast- bread making 1
We had great fun giving Mrs Singh a recipe with no yeast! This is the result of baking bread with and without yeast!!

Our Classroom. We work hard to make our classroom an attractive and exciting place to learn.

Connexion Zone

Each term we visit Christ Church on Berry Lane with our Reception class buddies to listen to a story, sing songs and do some art and craft work. We enjoy our walk through Longridge and the Year 5 look after the younger children very well. We have the chance on the way up to Christ Church for a good chat and can spot all sorts of things going on in Longridge.

Music assembly

We have had fun this term learning about music from around the world. We have studied Flamenco from Spain, Samba from Brazil and Reggae from Jamaica. In assembly we performed our version of the Reggae song 'Three Little Birds' by Bob Marley.

Longridge High School Visit

Environment Day September 2017

We had a busy day at our nature area looking for signs of Autumn, identifying trees types, creating wonderful art work and collecting interesting leaves, twigs and sticks. During a health check of the area we identified some things that make it great but also some ideas for improving the area and encouraging more wildlife.

We were lucky with the weather and enjoyed a day in beautiful sunshine.
